Synopsis.

Issued Feb 8th, 7:18pm

Sunny skies are expected on Tuesday with an upper ridge of high pressure moving in from the west. A dying frontal system will move into the area on Wednesday bringing clouds and some possible light rain or scattered showers mainly late in the day. A stronger system will hit on Thursday bringing rain with another system moving in on Friday bringing another round of rain. More rain is likely on Saturday and Sunday as a series of systems ride the jet stream into southwestern BC. There may be a break in the action next Monday but the longer range outlook shows more systems hitting the coast of BC bringing more rain from time to time next week.
